Well rooting an Android devices is beneficial if you are kind of users who like a bigger freedom using your phone. The freedoms that are not provided by default.
And each time we install the official firmware, we are left without options to keep our root access but to give it up.
Therefore, when the installing process finished we are moving to rooting so the installed firmware is rooted.
This post will guide you through the entire process of rooting KSGUMK1 JellyBean 4.3 on Galaxy S3 SHV-E210S so prepare yourself, we will be using ODIN and CF-Auto-Root tool.
Remember to perform the instructions here at your own risk. Don't forget to backup your data and set USB debugging mode enabled.
How to root KSGUMK1 Android 4.3 on Galaxy S3 SHV-E210SStep 1 - Download root file for E210SKSUGMK1 Firmware to your computer and make sure to store it to an easy to find place like Desktop. Now extract it and then find and get a .tar file within.
Step 2- And then download ODIN V3.07 from this link to be used for rooting the firmware installed on your smartphone.
Step 3 - Shut down your device to enter the Download Mode, to do so please press these buttons: Volume Down + Home, keep holding them now press till the Android Robot along with the triangle appear on your screen. For confirmation, you need to press the Power button once again, now you are inside the Download Mode.
Step 4 - Now launch ODIN from your PC, then plug your device to your PC (Make sure that your device is in the Download Mode before plugging to computer).
Step 5 - If you managed to connect your computer to your device in the download mode, you will then see your ID:COM box become yellow followed with COM port number. This phase will take sometime thus just wait.
Step 6 - Now select the following files to be flashed (the files you previously extracted from the step 1).
- Tap on ‘PDA’, then choose this: CF-Auto-Root-c1skt-shve210s.tar.md5.
Step 8 - From ODIN, click the Start button for the installation to be started. This process will take sometime therefore just wait.
Step 9 - When finished installing, your device should reboot into Recovery Mode automatically then install the root files. You will see that the ID:COM will become green.
